Sherwin-Williams Paints the Community in Halifax

In partnership with the Canadian Hockey League, Sherwin-Williams brought their 5th annual Paint the Community initiative to Halifax, Nova Scotia, as part of the 2019 Memorial Cup Presented by Kia.

This year’s event took place at the Phoenix Youth Shelter where CHL representatives and alumni joined Sherwin-Williams local employees who donated their time, paint, and painting supplies to revitalize the shelter.

Phoenix is a non-profit, community based organization, dedicated to supporting youth between the ages of 11 and 24, their families, and communities across multiple locations in Halifax.  The shelter supplies daily essentials (food, clothing, shelter, etc.) around the clock to youth who seek support. All residents have access to daily programming and are connected with a Key Worker who provides on-going guidance and support to help residents meet their identified goals.

The Canadian Hockey League and Sherwin-Williams Paints would like to thank all who made this event such a great success!
